The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
